George Eliot Primary is at the heart of a multicultural and socio-economically diverse community. The staff team feel privileged to be part of this community.

George Eliot Primary is a good school with outstanding behaviour and personal development (Ofsted 2022). Our school is not only focused upon academic success but also the emotional well-being, intelligence and personal development of all of our children. We believe that young children need to be exposed to a wide range of experiences to enable them to reach their full potential and be ready for the next phase of their education. 'Pupils love coming to school, work hard and learn well' (Ofsted 2022). 

Effective partnerships between home and school are absolutely crucial to enable each child to succeed.

Throughout the year we conduct prospective parent/carer visits. If you would like to come and visit, please telephone the school office and speak to a member of our admin team.
