School day
At George Eliot we have a soft start where children in Reception to Year 6 are invited to come into school from 8:35am. The school gate will open at 8.35am and close at 8.45am. Learning will now start at 8.45am and children who arrive after 8.45am will be marked as late in the school registers.
The school day will finish at 3.15pm. The school gate will open at 3.15pm and close again at 3.25pm. Children who are collected after this time will need to be collected from the school office.
These arrangements ensure that all children receive 32.5 hours of education every week.
